Have you ever wanted to hit the pause button? Would you want to watch the way your child twirls her hair over and over again? What about the way your son gives you the absolute best hugs. What if I could give you that pause button?
This is what my family films are all about.
I will get to know you and your family through chatting and a questionnaire. and I will use that information to prepare for your film day and know what I am looking to capture. On the day of our session, I am like a friend hanging out with you for a few hours, documenting organic moments in your daily life. I will also take photographs during your session, so you will have a gallery of images to have as well.
Once filming is complete, I will head home and work hard to create your family's story through a short film. Choosing a song that best fits your family's film is usually the hardest part - but also very fun. Once I do that, everything falls into place and your film is created.
This process will take up to four weeks.
This is a family of five that lives for their summer days and nights. When I spoke with Shannon, the mother, she really wanted to capture their typical summer afternoon and evening - swim, play, eat, and smores. Remembering those times with her children (7, 5, and 3) and her husband are absolutely priceless to her. This is the epitome of carefree childhood days and this family will have their film to look back on forever.
Here is a newborn film, welcoming Baby Dame to the family. He is the best addition to this growing family. His mother just wants to soak up every second with this little boy and I can totally relate! Watch their film below!
This is another newborn film, this time outdoors at the beach. I met this new family of three at the shore at sunrise. It was perfect. The ocean was calm, the sky was colorful, and nobody was around! It was her first time to the beach and it will be forever remembered.

Ali has shot our daughter, Madeline, for both a newborn and now a 6 month session.
